For me the limiting factor is training data and turning outputs into something an agent can see and know if it succeeded or failed

Death by friction. Fiat dies not with a bang but a spreadsheet error. Your agent needs real-world price discovery, not Fed-issued noise. The system is too brittle to handle autonomous verification.
