Today is my first day of intermittent fasting.
I’m starting gently, just breakfast and dinner, leaving space in between.
I’m not chasing weight loss.
I’m listening to my body, trying to quiet the inflammation that hums beneath the surface.
If you feel like sending a little encouragement my way, I’ll receive it with gratitude. 🫂

Great idea, I normally fast breakfast. People try and use it as a weight loss hack but as you correctly identified, it’s more about slowing your body’s rhythm down.
My advice would be to listen to your body. If you are starving, have water first, go for a walk. If still hungry don’t deprive your body.
Soon you start to get a better intuition about when you should eat.
Have fun!
I’m trying it a bit differently—having breakfast at 6 and dinner at 18, since those are the times that fit best with my work schedule.
A 12/12 fasting window feels quite challenging for me, to be honest, but I want to give it a real try and see how my body responds.
I really appreciate your advice—especially the reminder to listen to my body. That’s probably the hardest and most important part.
You got this. The one thing to know is that your cravings will dissipate. It gets easier the longer you go. Add salt water/broth along the way.
Thanks! I was just thinking about bringing the broth in a thermos for my lunch break at work.
I do intermittent fasting since 9 years now. There is no going back. Let the journey begin 💪
Thanks 🫂😊
I think 12/12 is a great place to start and stay if you’re happy with it
