Thats kinda exactly what I mean. Those transactions were reverted to the mempool, there was no double spend, nobody lost money.
It was a headache for a few days, the attack failed and everyone moved on.

We should be comfortable storing our net worth in something that can be attacked so trivially?
You think that if the people actually calling the shots in the world cared about monero they would not be able to attack it and render it completely useless?
I mean it wasn’t even that bad… 18 blocks is only 36 min… it was only like an hour or two long issue…?
