For me the trailer seems rather as the film can not be worth the minutes to spend to look into. Maby it is the bad humor or bad acting from the trailer, that disturbs me. But I mean it is good not all huge investments pay out.
It is a sign, that consumers are not that stupid as one could sometimes think.

Also very true. A film’s success or lack thereof is a sign that the free market has spoken. Because legacy movie studios are struggling, I want to see them succeed but the people are choosing to stay home and giving their money to Netflix, Apple and Amazon in terms of streaming.
Yes I think the comfort of streaming services is just a great successor to Television, so that even people go less to the cinema for new movies.
For me the cinema has still the advantage of powerful sound, which I do not have at home.
But this is only important to me in a small number of films.
The good thing is, that the streamingplattforms open maby a bigger audiance to smaller productions, that had a very hard time to be seen before.
