The point is the *reasonable expectation of trust. You trust elliptic curve multiplication only goes one way and cant be unwound. It is a *similar application of trust to use a RNG. Is it necessary? No, use dice if you wanna. But if HWRNG is compromised then the entire security layer of the internet is broken and we have much bigger problems.

It is not similar and you have it backwards. You do not kmow what you are talking about and you should stop spreading misinformation about security. We've had enough of that.
Why is it not a similar application of trust? And yes, if Linux CSPRND is broken then TLS is compromised and entire security of the internet is built on TLS. HTTPS, certificate privkeys, SSH, routing, DNSSEC, API key, Oauth, AES, double ratchet It's all broken. So whats your problem with what I'm saying?
