TBF, it wasn't Ditto and the guy that made it did it to poke fun at on-chain zaps and highlight why they are a bad idea. Hope his #AOSconvergence presentation is online soon to give context.

and? "Shitcoins" have shown to have greater utility than Bitcoin. Monero has shown more utility as useful, fungible money. Bitcoin Cash delivers lower fees without a retarded extra layer and disaster UX. TRX-Tether is now the preferred replacement for swift, it alone exceeds the daily volume of Bitcoin in nominal transaction value (Tether of course started on Bitcoin, but ended with Tron being the actual beneficiary thanks to Core's incompetence). Solana is the most useful for generalized contracts and thus has the highest amount of actual computation. Nostr's religious attachment to Bitcoin is stupid. Nobody is using Bitcoin, the numbers show that Bitcoin is a ghost town. I would love for Bitcoin to actually be useful! But Core has dedicated all the time and resources and hundreds of millions of dollars to Lightning, which anyone using at any real volume has horrible problems with, and to shitcoin projects it favors like Citrea, which show little utility. If Core doesn't actually want to build to accommodate the actual use cases of blockchains, why should we show endless fealty to and be captured by Bitcoin?
1. Why is NWC forced into a separate wallet? 2. Would be nice if NWC operations were silent push notifications like @Clave does 3. Speaking of clave, it seems to respond requests quicker than blitz for some reason. Could be a server side thing for all I know but funny that one is much quicker than the other (while using the same trick to workaround the background app limitations from iOS)
1. The main Blitz seed is encrypted on your device using either a PIN (with salt) or biometrics. This means user interaction is required to load the wallet. Since NWC needs to work without user interaction, we have to use a separate wallet. 2. Is Clave open source? Maybe we can look at how they handle it and optimize our setup.
