Yes. Those follow sets on certain clients are also filled with noubs that haven't been active or only zapfarm on rare occasion. It's super lame and it amuses me to no end that this is one of the biggest reasons for the churn on nostr, along with no real centralized algorithmic boosting (though you can consider the blatant artificial blacklisting of certain npubs on primal a symptom of this) to promote the thots and bots that drive most of the revenue from ads on the big platforms. The good thing is that none of that is sustainable without big money coming in, especially with how unproductive those types are. Running around the jungle shirtless as a primary vocation might seem cool, but, it isn't gonna be possible to do that long term without becoming a bigger ball gargler.
