I think i get the theory. Or even the sentiment behind it. I just don't understand what it would actually mean for a child in practice. That's where i have difficulties understanding the why of all this procedure

I have a birth certificate somewhere. I've never seen it, nor used it. I don't think this will make any difference to the child once they are an adult. Nor does it make any practical difference day to day. It will probably give them the option to exit bureaucratic processes if they so choose, but they probably won't.
Will it? Because I still don't really see how... The more I look at it, trying to be as honest and fair and understanding as possible, the more I come back to what looks to me like it's just some sort of declaration play that one could do at the kitchen table between the two parents alone. But maybe I'm wrong... I've been wrong before :) It's still quite interesting... and I'm not sure if I should just categorize it as another LARPing session we've got so used to in the last decade or so, or there's something in there ... Anyway.. thank you for providing it
