I got laid off a month ago. 100% AI. The company had a series F two months prior. VC money wasn't an issue. They expected to become profitable this year too.

I am sorry to hear that, first of all. That sucks. And yes, there are some cases here and there, but it is an incredible small niche. Same goes on the money side. There are some investments here and there but it’s down 95% from 5-8 years ago.
