I love Nostr. I've had a few conversations which would have unfurled into chaos if it were on X or Reddit. Even those who fundamentally disagree can find common sentiment and understanding, leading to an environment of ideas and learning.
Debate isn't to push your own ideas on others, its engaging with your community, getting pushback and proved wrong, called out on inconsistencies, etc. This way, you can really consider your own viewpoint and make that critical decision whether something is worth fighting for or not.
