do you really think "if you had bought bitcoin instead you'd have more fiat value" is a compelling argument? also, I started buying at $60 so you'll have a hard time convincing me it hasn't been a good SoV...

"purchasing power" is denominated in the UoA. the UoA is *what prices are denominated in* (ie the US dollar). Therefore I have more purchasing power than when I bought. you dividing a fiat price by the fiat price of Bitcoin doesn't change the UoA.
AGAIN, I DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT FIAT. YOU ACTED LIKE I BROUGHT IT UP AND I NEVER USED THE WORD 🤣 YES I HAVE TO USE FIAT MOST OF THE TIME, BUT SO WHAT? THATS CHANGING, TONS OF BUSINESSES WHILE NOW THRIVE BECUSE THEY ACCEPT IT, AND ADOPTION WILL CONTINUE GROWING WHETHER SHITCOINERS LIKE IT OR NOT IF I MAKE A LARGE PURCHASE, I WANT TO KNOW HOW MANY SATS I'M LOSING. THATS MY UNIT OF ACCOUNT. YOURS IS USD, GOOD LUCK TO YOU
DAMMIT YOU ARE RIGHT, I HAVE BEEN ARGUING THE SAME POINT WITH THAT DUMB CHART SO I JUST FIGURED YOU ARE ANOTHER DRONE THAT I CAN LAZILY OWN. BTC IS AN AMAZING STORE OF VALUE.. YOU CANNOT DENY IT. IT JUST MAKES NO SENSE TO HOLD MONERO UNLESS YOU ARE SPENDING IT.... BUT AGAIN GOOD LUCK, I MEAN IT THIS TIME
thats great. my bitcoin stack is probably up a little more in USD terms than my monero stack. but not so much that I'm going to do anything differently 👋
