> schisms will diminish adoption so erm well done all! Will they? The largest phases of adoption had people basically not criticizing Primal at all. Full koolaid mode. Primal, despite soaking up all the capital, got a very lower user retention rate. It was primarily focused on turning Nostr into a Lightning-based zap microeconomy so that people receiving LN investments could pretend that LN adoption is healthy, and LN is generally a disaster that nobody likes to use. Amethyst is now the most popular client on Android, and given the fact that far fewer people have ever been onboarded to it, it likely has orders of magnitude greater retention rates. Letting Primal get away with its shit for so long with no public criticism has been to the general detriment of Nostr, and, to my eyes, hurt growth and adoption greatly. Also, people like drama. It’s entertaining. Before all the conflict I would log on every day and see people jerking off about how great Saylor is (he’s a worthless subhuman jerkoff and I hope he gets raped to death) and I would logoff. It was only until people started calling out the scammers that I found Nostr worthwhile. Funny enough, that’s when Odell decides that Twitter is better suited for him. It’s certainly a better environment for him to grift. White society is based on intense public criticism and debate. From the Nordic-Germanic concepts of flyting and senna to the Celtic-Greco polémique, our civilizations are founded upon talking shit.
