I have a suggestion of how I would like to see these things working. I will write an issue on Jumble github and paste here. Maybe you think interesting and implement it.

I think you should revert it, haha. It's very strange. I like to see notes and replies on replies tab.

I understand you like it, but putting something that is NOT a reply under "replies" is weird :D Other clients use the label "Conversations", this make more sense.
