I’ve been playing with the @Fountain beta Nostr integration for a couple weeks and it is SICK. One simple example: I post a Fountain link on Nostr to a @THE Bitcoin Podcast episode and my note appears within Fountain under that episode. INTEROPERABILITY FTW 🔥 #ZAPATHON TIME: grab an episode of “THE Bitcoin Podcast” on fountain, post it here on Nostr, tag @walker and @THE Bitcoin Podcast and I’ll #zap you #696 sats 🫡 https://fountain.fm/show/68gcLZFDRxOzgGeZmXq6 View quoted note →

I was listening to @Jack Spirko Survival Podcast yesterday with @rev.hodl as the guest. I checked the comments. Post show, Rev did a long form note with pictures and links. Because he linked the episode is shows up under the comments within @Fountain This opens the door for podcasting to become social beyond anything offered through legacy. It showcases how Nostr works and dramatically improves the UX of the audio world. It also proves that an established app like Fountain can implement Nostr backwards instead of building on Nostr. As a podcaster, is allows integration and builds community. As a guest it allows the same, along with corrections, depth, links and any form of advertising you may of wanted to add. Remarkable achievement. More to come. image

Yeah this cross posting between Fountain and Nostr is a really good improvement. Still testing it out though.

They must have had lots of work on the backend I guess. 😏
Nostr’s Grand Optimist at your service. 🙋🏻‍♂️
I've never done this before. Let's give it a try... 4fb5c243-ec8e-4a77-87e1-99bb6c15c80a Hmmm. I don't think that's the right way to do it. I'll have to read up on posting from fountain. I can't get the fountain app to work on my phone (too old, I guess - need a newer phone). Looks like I have to learn how to do tags as well. Maybe this? @walker and @THE Bitcoin Podcast I'm sure there's a better way to do that. I'm a slow learner, but I'm not giving up. 😃
Your tagging worked just fine! Don’t worry, we all muddled through in the beginning. Don’t be afraid to ask questions — people are happy to help. And try doing an #introductions post!
