Some like it oily, but I prefer to stop before the oil comes out, somewhere between first and second crack. Give it a taste, tho. Fresh roasted bean is hard to beat, even if it's not perfect.

Thanks. I prefer medium roast. It got dark and oily a lot quicker than I though. about 4 min. I think I’ll cut the time in half next time. I’m using a popcorn machine. I’ve put it in glass jar. Should I leave it for a couple days or good to go straight after toast?
