At the risk of sounding arrogant, I’m often told I look about ten years younger than I am. Even my kids say it, much to my wife’s annoyance.
My old boss once told me, when I asked for a promotion, “You’re still young. You’ll get there.” I had to remind him I was only five years younger than he was. And recently, a college chick hit on me at a football game, which admittedly boosted the ego.
Honestly, I chalk the youthfulness up to a few simple things:
decent genetics, regular exercise, a whole-foods diet, not smoking, staying hydrated, & keeping an optimistic outlook. Finding beauty in daily life & not letting anger or sadness take over.
That’s really it. Simple stuff.
