All you said was they want to harvest data but it’s an open protocol. What do you want him to do? If it’s a closed protocol you’ll accuse him of centralizing the content for data harvesting. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

All you heard was "harvest data"?😑 The collection of certain data is fine as long as it's not stored for extended periods of time on a private server. But they collect search history from users on Primal and we have no real clue what they do with it during that timeframe. Don't forget that they still have to make a profit for their VC masters. That comes first for them, regardless of what they may say. This also allows them to regulate trend lists and control narratives through an open-source platform. Actually, no. It's not a damned if you do, damned if you don't type of scenario. The devs at primal could just not collect and instead actively ask for feedback and not turn into a bunch of Sensitive Sallies whenever they hear a complaint or a critique🙄.
