There always is something you can waste and something you must conserve. AI may change the dynamics of what is scarce vs abundant.
Much like the internet prior to broadband and after. Initially you had to conserve bandwidth, which wasn't needed post-broadband. Services likeNetflix could only exist post-broadband.
From Gudels incompleteness theorem I can conclude that you will always need 'oracles' to maintain the algorithms. This labor will stay scarce.
Resources, time, attention and physical space will stay scarce and may even become more expensive. If the number of games published went up by 100x then people will get more critical of their time gaming.
You may prefer paying more for something that doesn't waste your time and is well flushed out.
