My bad. It's very interesting reading through this thread, though. It's always fascinating to hear about everyone's unique experiences with parenting. My mom was never a career mom in the context you meant. She just worked some part-time job at a local food store while my dad brought home 98% of all the bacon. Still, she only worked for like 10 or 12 hours a week, sometimes less, while the rest of her time was spent caring for my sister and I. So, I guess you could say that she was a "career mom"😅. Also, as someone who grew up with a workaholic dad, I have to say that career dads can be just as bad. Believe me, i did not like being a "substitute father" after my sister was born.
