Earnest question:
If we adopt BIP177 (which I already have) and start expressing sats as integers with the ₿ symbol on the left, what’s the best way to handle millisats? Showing them like ₿0.001 feels too confusing right now.
Any ideas?

m₿?
Every UI need a little reminder. It might be a little painful for somw a few years.
Sats are the standard. With that, you have no problem with millisats.
In a deflationary asset, you need smaller and smaller units, and redefining the base integer is as clueless as not knowing how to do maths.
Just express things in SAT's , you're the one adding confusion to something which should be a done deal.
I personally express the smallest units as sats, as that's what I always thought of them as.
Honestly we should have a symbol for sats and leave ₿ alone.
