There’s a book called the expectation effect that talks about some of this stuff. It’s interesting and makes you question how objective humans can actually be. Also makes you question the true nature of what we think are cause and effect relationships. For example, I don’t believe in contagion/germ theory. But I believe that most people have been convinced of it that their belief actually creates the illness.
