You could well be correct. I'm betting on the whole damn thing going up. An entire system that covers multiple countries ending. The difference i guess is that the USSR was able to break into smaller countries and it's infrastructure never really developed much. A missed opertunity for the west. Instead our elites decided to keep fighting the cold war. I'm watching our youth with interest.. the youngest cohort of Gen Alpha seem to be very different than the oldest cohort of Gen Z.. Here's an unpopular opinion... the future society of Gen beta or Gamma will be more religious and militaristic than we can imagine.

The biggest religion by far has become the religion of the Holy, Omnipotent Government. Militarism seems difficult to recreate in Britain, since the required external enemy is buffered by the EU, or at least on Tue opposite side of the planet. My most optimistic solution is the return to constituent states worldwide, including UK. If there were a return to sovereign England, Wales, Northumbria, Scotland in a confederation, their blobs would be more manageable and easier to escape. Something like #UAE setup perhaps is more achievable.

🤔 Yes, contemplating along this #UAE line, my most optimistic outcome is #UBE - United #British #Emirates - but a generation or two from now. The #Scots should certainly be allowed to go their own way in the foreseeable. They are rather big fans of #socialism anyway.

Yes, the break up of the UK do's seem possible. And i have no idea how to wean people of the Religion of state intervention. And the Scots probably would join the EU at thhe first opportunity. Or at least try too 😁 One concern would be the establishment of an Islamic zone running across central England. Time's are inded interesting 🤔

Yes, that way everyone can get their zone. Scots get into the #EU. Muslims can form the Emirate of Northumbria. England and Wales carry on each sovereign, as in ancient times. Belgium, Switzerland, Latvia, Estonia, Slovenia are about the size of Wales, and no worse off. Historical England was about the size of Scandinavian countries, which also seem to be doing OK separately. Lichtenstein and Luxembourg also seem relevant and relatively well off. Singapore and Hong Kong also did rather well separated from bigger states.

Sounds like a plan 🤣👍🏻At the very least strip parliament of the ability to raise taxes or pass legislation... Parliment is just a high school hot air debating society with a bigger canteen anyway. So just shift a lot more to a regional body. Councils spend more of my money in ways that directly effect me anyway..😁
