I think the best way to describe him is duplicitous. Despite all his claims of not liking shitcoins and nfts, and core not enabling spam, he will a moment later defend the cat pictures in Bitcoin or make some moral relativist argument for spam.
Murch is currently a disingenius spam apoligist clown. He states that the idea of turning Bitcoin into Ethereum 2.0 is "strawman" argument. That was stated by Citrea themselves! See in the article below. "We're hearing things like Citrea is better than Ethereum," Chainway Labs co-founder Orkun Mahir Kılıç told CoinDesk. "It'll be better with time, because there's like $1 trillion, as of now, sitting in the Bitcoin blockchain. It is the most secure, battle-tested and decentralized blockchain. And we are bringing decentralized finance to it." 🤡🤡🤡 https://www.coinglass.com/news/91227 Then he assigns the censorship resistance value only to their team of spam apologists. That is of course BS because every Bitcoiner is pro censorship resistance Bitcoin. Bitcoin is Freedom Money and Bitcoin never refuses an account. Filtering spam out is has nothing to do with censorship resistance. Spam is waste. Maybe Murch is pro censorship resistance on waste, jpegs ... I can't stand watching Murch (I have seen a number of his propaganda appearances) but the host of BitcoinInfinity is just awesome and kept me watching the show. And yes Murch is very technical and I have seen his good work in the past but it currently he, Adam Back and majority of Core have turned completely into the dark shitcoiners side ... Citrea, VCs ... Also don't forget that Murch voted against fixing inscriptions spam.

See the compromised Core devs who rejected Luke's PR that fixes inscription spam. They are the bad actors (the NACKers) They revealed themselves with their public comments on OP_RETRUN being dishonest and manipulative. The guys that ACKed are the good guys we have. image https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/28408 https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues/29187 Bitcoin Knots has fixed those issues.

Then Murch is arguing how Citrea's transactions are legitimate and how we can't stop them and bla bla bla. Well BIP 110 is THE SOLUTION that restrcts spam on Bitcoin and restricts the abuse. If spammers can live with 80 Bytes OP_RETURN then let them be. But 100 000 Bytes OP_RETURN is pure shitcoining and Core V30 is a malware!

Lets see how a monetary transaction looks like and how an OP_RETURN spam that takes 100s to 1000s times more space look like. I am sure you will notice the difference. Spam is disgusting. 1. This is how a Bitcoin monetary transaction looks like image 2. This is how OP_RETURN transaction looks like image and the spam waste of space goes on and on like that image
