Sure, but back then I wasn’t really thinking it through. I just figured my images had to pop in the most over the top way, so I’d throw a bunch of random filters and clumsy global edits until the final shot barely resembled the original file. 🫠

I have been through the same process - to hard on the editing in the beginning but a bit more gentle now. A some point heavy editing feel like lying.
Here is an example of a photo that i edited a bit hard in order to bring out a certain feeling.
I agree with you that nature/landscape photography is a very rewarding hobby. Sometimes I find it almost therapeutic.
