Why is #nostr better than #pubky in your view? Speaking without conflict of interest and in a purely non-biased way, just comparing the tech with respect to privacy, decentralization and security.

Nostr devs have less than zero interest in other solutions, even if they are strictly better.
For a cult, being loyal is more important than progress.
Note that his question could have been "What are some other interesting protocols that Nostr can learn from? What's new and cool out there?"
This is certainly a disappointing outcome for freedom tech. I consider pubky backend design to be very good, maybe more client diversity is the missing part.
