It has nothing to do with my job. The phone is literally mine. As in I paid for it. And it does not allow it. And it not a matter of graphene or lineage. My main phone is non-stock. Not worried about that. What I am saying is Motorola does not allow it on their phones, and would assume they are not the only ones. So those running stock android might not be able to work around it.

Oh, that must be new. I had a Motorola a couple of years ago and was able to do so. I wonder if something like Google Play Protect is causing it not to work.
Now that you got me thinking, perhaps it is play protect, and the change was made with this type of new policy in mind. But whatever the case, thank god for custom roms
