I have the feeling that those tools have made the programmers feel less lonely. Now you have a tool that gives you ideas and different approaches but the final decision has to be yours.
It is basically pair programming with a robot.

And that's a pretty good from my point of view. Engineers retain agency and can focus on technical challenges without being burdened by minor, mechanical, and repetitive tasks. Dialogue is also a big feature, as figuring out balanced decisions is really good.
