Finished chapter 50, a bit of a milestone in the plot. As much as I'm personally not a huge fan of starting out stories far in the future and then jumping back to the start of the plot, I did kinda go back and fourth on using this as the prologue instead of what I settled on.
If you haven't checked it out and were interested in a (very amateur) free to read/share novel, this chapter would probably make a good introduction into the ongoing work. Certainly a slower and more mysterious introduction rather than the somewhat-mysterious-but-way-more-frantic prologue I went with.
