Just do the free trial on headspace
Nature
I'll check it out. thanks!
Just stop whatever you're doing and start breathing mindfully.
Does chill and listen to lo-fi music count onto that ? 😅
I used the headspace app back in the day, and it was a good way to learn.
Now I meditate on the joyful, sorrowful, glorious, and luminous mysteries of the most holy rosary of the blessed virgin, Mary. Highly recommend.
Become aware of your thoughts without engaging with them. Then ask who is the one that is aware?
Look into different types of meditation. It's not all just "clear your mind" stuff.
haha thats how I work typically. though I've started listening to nature sounds recently, particularly rain sounds. storms. that sort of thing.
I think I may do that. use the headspace app to at least learn. see where I end up.
damn. that's some high thoughts.
i really just want it for centering myself, battling anxiety, calming down. that sort of thing. being able to clear my mind would be excellent haha
Try out mindfulness meditation, then. It's veryncommon here in the west and has proven health benifits. Lots of resources on how to do it our there too.
