Will be interesting to see what #Canva is going to do about the #Affinity apps. They acquired the company #Serif more than a year ago. It’s no longer possible to buy or download the Affinity apps. They are gone from the website. However, they seem to have an announcement on October 30. I don’t know what to expect. Could be moving to a subscription-based model 😬 image

Currently, I’m using #Adobe apps on a student plan, but I hate the subscription fee each month… Have been thinking about moving to Affinity apps for a long time. Apparently, they also have some excellent iPad Pro apps.

They always used to have some very good deals on Black Friday, but maybe this will change with Canva. I will buy if they keep perpetual licenses, but if they move to subscription, I might as well just keep Adobe. it would suck though…
