Yeah, every time I try to zap someone and it’s not going through they are using primal.
On top of that they are only open source in name now since they are running a different build then what’s in their GitHub repository.
Additionally they KYC you in order to use their white labeled strike wallet.
Ohh and they are VC funded by the guy that tells you not to use Twitter because they KYC you.
Then the primal bros try to tell you that you’re not a “real Bitcoiner” because you have a realistic view on how the Bitcoin standard takes place.
Honestly I’d rather use Twitter than Primal.
Primal blows major ass.

I think you're right about this. Primal is always the go-to app for most I meet at the @Central Pennsylvania Bitcoiners meetup. It's easy to get started because everything looks "clean". The built-in wallet is an incentive as well. The fact that Primal also has a web client at Primal.net also makes it feel like like an actual competitor to Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Unfortunately, the app itself always seems to have problems when you need it to work. Primal just seems to care more about form over function to me. It's that beautiful woman that you still would never marry.
