People who think $45 transaction fee for transferring millions/billions dollars worth of value globally without any censorships is high.
Think again. #Bitcoin

I’m people. There has to be a better way. There is a reason it’s layer 0.
too high
you can send millions in monero for cents
and get privacy
even litecoin
I spent $19 in fees for $600 transfer.
#bitcoin is best option for now.
🤮
Lightning, fedimint. But no, there is no better way than Bitcoin.
How long till it confirmed?
eat meat
not plants which want to kill you
then you do not have to vomit
Like how Jack is Eddies cheater actor?
Friends don’t lie.
I’m people. He’s right.
So let’s talk about this Russian deflector nonsense lying to people on their tax money.
Good how?
I never said there was a better way than Bitcoin. I said there is a better way than $45 transaction fees.
Which national security ass does that serve?
Fake and embarrassing, don’t you think?
I’m transferring quite a bit less and i’m very happy. My money and self sovereign. Worth every sat 🤙
Scarce blockspace is a core engineering feature which allows Bitcoin to be decentralized and censorship resistant. How do you propose we price fix fees lower without altering that dynamic?
I have no proposal. My point was there is a reason bitcoin is layer 0. Lightning is a great start.

Layer zero is terminology which usually refers to the people of Bitcoin, the node runners, users, miners, etc.
Just to clear up some of my confusion.
But what if you want to send 45$ and the fee is 45$. So base layer is for millions and billions mainly, and we should build something on top?
We are in agreement. As it stands there is no better way than $45 transaction fees. But there has to be a better one as we build layers on top of the bitcoin blockchain.
Damm. I've been using lightning and liquid. There are trade-offs, but I think the reward-risk ratio makes liquid a decent option.
Fedimints might be better, but I have only used one on testnet so far.
This is also not finacial advice. This option makes sense for me. This would not be a good strategy for someone taking their bitcoin off coinbase for the very first time.
Thanks for sharing your personal experience
I appreciate 😊

I'm glad. 🤓
I started my blog because I want to help Bitcoiners.
Each place is different though.
My advice for a Bitcoiner in North Korea would differ from my advice to a Bitcoiner in North Dakota.
