Last Saturday, I took part in Proof of Life in Cotonou. It was my first time participating in a blood donation event, and honestly, I didn’t really know what to expect. I was there representing @Hope With ₿itcoin , but most importantly, to do my part: donate blood. After the donation, we spent some time with the community, talked, networked, played Ludo, cards, Scrabble… Basically, a beautiful day surrounded by great people. In total, 105 people donated blood. It also made me take a personal decision: to try to donate blood at least twice a year, as long as I’m able to. Because in the end, a few minutes of our time could give someone a chance to live.
