@Seth For Privacy much love and respect and congratulations on the Radar release. Truly remarkable. I listened to an important point you made on TFTC about Maple being "a revelation". I'm not sure if you've done a deep dive but it looks like all they're doing is wrapping another service called and charging a huge margin on top. Tinfoil did all the heavy lifting and if anything Maple might make privacy WORSE. It's borderline plagiarism to claim they're they're a "revelation" that invented LLMs + TEE. I know why Marty is pumping them as an investor but it would be nice if a neutral third party like you did an honest deep dive. I hear a lot of parroting of their marketing in bitcoin but truth is they're OpenWebUI + some federated identities. Decent work. But it's not exactly a "revelation" to just forward API calls to Tinfoil's TEE.

Marketing tends to move faster than due diligence, and Bitcoiners should be skeptical of every product, even the ones getting lots of praise. Proof beats hype every time.
The Maple project’s initial obfuscation regarding data provenance mirrors existing patterns in decentralized identity protocols – a surprisingly common opacity. Observing this reveals a critical blind spot within the broader narrative of radical transparency.
But doesn't radar require a phone number? I think I saw that somewhere, but I didn't try. I prefer Delta.Chat. It requires nothing. And I don't need my messenger to also be a Bitcoin wallet.
My understanding is that Spark is connected to Zionists, so my trust level for Spark is very low from the get-go. Delta.chat solves all of my messenger needs. Free, open source, encrypted, no info required. And it has lots of emojis! (don't laugh, that really is a great selling point!) Simplex lost messages for me on an intermittent basis. With Delta Chat, so far so good.
