I've come to understand that all woman are broken in some way or the other. Broken as in abused in some way. Very hard to find a lady that's had a normal childhood where she wasn't sexually assaulted in some way or another. Idk all my ex's told me stories about when they were younger and I'm not just under the impression that woman in general are 'broken' (not the right term but yeah)

i think this is very accurate and very sad. but yeah, broken is the wrong term—more like wounded. because broken implies something is now "wrong" and requires fixing, whereas being wounded is a part of living, and can be healed. a subtle but huge difference. much of the world has little faith that women can metabolize and heal from these experiences, and often discouraged so through shame. but this journey in many ways defines Feminine power, imo. as men, we can't heal those wounds, but with enough emotional wits we can create a space where healing is possible.
