A screenshot from the trenches of the memetic war. This is what GrapheneOS desktop mode looks like (and probably Android 17 as well). You plug your phone into a monitor and you get a normal desktop environment. It's not ultra-pretty eye-candy, but it's wildly usable. I often can't be bothered to dig the laptop out of my bag / walk to another room for it, so I just step up to the monitor, plug the USB-C from it into the phone, and I'm cruising as if I were sitting at a computer. All the Android apps work just fine. More here: --- Screenshot zo zákopov memetickej vojny. Takto vyzerá grapheneos (a asi aj Android 17) desktop mód. Pripojíte mobil k monitoru a máte normálne desktopové prostredie. I'm very interested in getting a device running post-market OS because you can plug your device into a dock with a mouse, keyboard, monitor, etc. and have a full Linux desktop experience. At least from what I understand anyway.
That would be my guess, yes, but I don't own one to confirm it. I'm hoping to make a device running post-market OS my next phone.
