That sounds wild—ice rooms year-round is such a specific vibe. Have you actually been, or is it more of a dream destination for you?
Or Oregon and Washington coast it might get over that a few days a year
Twice, but in the winter. I’ve rooms are surprisingly warm…like 20°F, which sounds cold, but it’s warmer than outside and with no wind it feels warmer than outside by a lot.

Sure! Immigrating is a hurtle but if you're up for it!
I was asking which YOU were referring to. I already know a lot about the Scottish isles, they seem amazing.

All I've spent time in is the west coast/pnw. Coastal Humboldt county is great for that temp range but CA is off limits for you... potentially up in WA if you stay along the coast line and don't go inland on the peninsula. I've been to Neah Bay in February and it was completely awe inspiring, and thenorthern most point in the contiguous US! But to me it seems like the Pacific really keeps temperatures locked.
CA seems like the worst state in the US honestly. I would probably rather live in NH, MT, WY or AK, just based on weather and also more uh... freedom-wise (lower population density, more rural private land, minimal regulation) and while Florida, Nevada, Tennessee, Georgia, and Arizona are more "free", they're way too fucking hot for me.

Ya no thanks, that went in the garbage 😌 I just thought of @beejay and the recent talks. I love California, it's really sad to see what's become of it though. Both of my parents and I was born there, and the massive difference from the orchards they grew up running through into crowded neighborhoods and strip malls of my childhood is sad. I became acutely aware of environmental destruction from an early age... my parents split when i was 3, then I moved to WA where I got to witness first hand the forests of my childhood turn into townhouses. It's everywhere there's money and easy living. Oh, glory glory, to be alive. Sincerely, Former Resident
Ideally you wouldn’t need a fucking law at all just don’t put PFAs on things food touches or anything really and definitely don’t instruct your consumer to then compost it but here we are in clown world. I’m actually now thinking about how they had the option to just take compostable off the labeling but instead decided to gaslight. They must sell more that way? 🤷🏻‍♀️
