If it weren’t for super glue.. work boots wouldn’t last a year. Keen, Justin, Wolverine.. doesn’t matter. Nothing holds up.

Ha! I recently discovered "Shoe glue". Way better and longer lasting than super glue and designed to have some flexibility and not crack like super glue can. Just sayin - if you're a shoe fixer!
My father is a huge shoe goo maxi 😆
Hated that when I was a kid, why can’t I just get a new pair?! Appreciate it much more now 😉
My boots never use to hold up but the redwings I got 5 years ago have held up pretty nicely. Though I only wore them mostly full time for the first year or there about.
Redwing was what my dad always wore. Granted it was 20+ years ago, so they may be shit now too.
None of the big names are worth a damn. As a tradesmen, I can’t get a pair to last more than 10 months. Most didn’t make it 6.
Try some of the smaller handmade outfits. I use JK boots, but I’ve heard Nicks is great too. Both out of Spokane Valley, WA. You’ll be into a pair of boots for $600+ but you’ll get years out of them instead of months.
No affiliation but an extremely happy customer.
i found a mi|itary surplus supplier that has a plethora of boots that happen to be my size so ive been going that route for idk almost a decade now but i get a year without any glue and then the souls are gone. also im only getting a year out of work pants and i havent found anything that lasts longer. im on blaklader these days
Wrangler ATG pants seems to hold up for me. I only rotate two pair at a time so they take a beating.
