The fee racket is a mess, they even charge you if someone sends you money unasked and then charges it back (can be up to a $20 fee) On normal transactions, the fees can depend on the currency (if sending to someone in another currency), and then friends and family vs goods and services. Not that you asked, but For context, I think I've given up high hundreds, to (one) thousands to PayPal over the years fee-wise. For furry art, vtuber models, selling random shit. Not to mention *cough* paypal reports to the IRS *cough* Just like the credit card monopoly, the fees only go UP, not down.
