I got the impression that ocean and also stratumv2 protocol would prevent censorship from pools.

They won’t have the Stratumv2 integration done anytime soon, just said “in 2024.”
Until then they’re not at all preventing censorship and are instead just doing their own.
It’s like Elon buying twitter. He does the censoring now so he’s happier
