ESP32-S2 works as well! Cost is 9+3 euro (and well, maybe 1 euro for the filament for the 3D printed case?) #OrangeClock @Marcelinho the case is screwless too. Next version I want to put the S2 mini inside the case as well. 
Good job on the #OrangeClock @Marcelinho ! Changed the code a bit but made it work on a ESP32-S3. Mainly needed to change the 4 pins and specify the SPI pins.
