People are triggered by the fact that social media platforms are restricting their accounts. First of all, you don't own said accounts. You're just a serf on a digital land. As soon as you truly understand that, you'll join #nostr. Here there's no algo, it's just people and bots sending note and zapping sats. Sats ain't cheap when you consider spam.
Who will create your nostr account? Not a 3rd party, but math.
Who ensures data integrity? Not a 3rd party, but cryptography.
Who stores your data? Not a 3rd party, but multiple parties, or yourself.
Who can delete your account? Nobody, not even yourself.
