When Ron Paul decided to create a homeschool program, he asked Dr. Tom Woods to produce high-school courses in history and government One of his books to get a better view on true American history (because "Almost everything you know about American history is wrong"): https://a.co/d/0tpvqOX It was an eyeopener for me and triggered in me the suspicion that we may have been lied to (and continue to be lied to) more often than we want to believe... And then you may believe nothing staight away again and want to verify everything, which is not bad per se, but a whole new rabbit hole on its own... And does not guarantee a whole lot of understanding (does not make one populair in the public eye) ;)

Tom was also one of the few sane voices during the Covid years and helped many people through logical analysis to show and expose its widespread ridiculousness. Through Tom I learned about Ron Paul and many other Libertarians he had on his show. And learned that it's not wrong to think "Right" and what that actually means (incl. historically how it was defined)
