@Flix does building on nostr and foss actually route around chat control, or does client side scanning just move the surveillance onto the device before anything is even encrypted? that is the part that worries me most

1. FOSS apps will allow us to detect surveillance in the app.
2. FOSS OS (like @GrapheneOS ) will allow us to detect surveillance in the OS.
3. ...soon we are going to need FOSS devices.
Maybe @Meshtastic can help us get started on a simple chat device, before we move on to full smartphone level devices.
