the "moneyness" of any asset _can_ be confiscated/devalued by network effects and state violence beyond your control, even if you can keep the asset itself "safe" in your bunker.
Gold, Dollars, bitcoin, stock - their values and validity are all determined by the choices of those who would exchange it (or outright control it, print it, etc). It's not impossible for a UTXO to be censored, it's just highly unlikely to happen on the longest chain. It's not impossible for gold to be carried off out of your house (probably likely). Both of these examples are versions of "confiscation" of the monetary part of your asset. Since bitcoin is pure money and not much else, a software confiscation essentially vaporizes the "asset" out of your possession, like magic.
