Ah no worries! I did not feel offended, just felt like sharing the story. Over here in the netherlands there is really strong narrative to breastfeed for sure, which is great. In the end it is still a choice. It's a double edged blade since you are not only deciding on your own convenience but you are not setting up your child for the best possible start and i know it can make a big difference. I can't imagine nurses or midwifes not strongly recommending breastfeeding. It definitely has down sides but also loads of upsides since you don't have to take formula and hot water if you're going somewhere where you cannot properly prepare the formula. I hope your child is doing well and wish you all the best. Keep that bonding going, nothing you can ever experience again after it's completed.
