Thanks for this - some concerns I have are that my users will be women who have escaped domestic and financial violence and abuse and who want a SAFE private place to connect with each other and grow and learn. I want to help them understand Bitcoin in a fun with with zaps etc as well as have ALL the features of Circle.so - these are going to be women even more noob than I am to this - I am a hardcore Bitcoiner but also understand that trying to get folks to go from zero to NOSTR might be stretch out of the gate- that's why I am asking for insights and support here. I want these women to use the app that I build instead of BS social media each day and it will have user journeys, growth, connection and games and ideally a little AI buddy to help them stay on track for their goals and dreams. So - can I build that here with NOSTR? Eventually I'd love to have the framework of the app available for others to use for their private communities.

> “So - can I build that here with NOSTR?” Absolutely!! 💜 My above statement rings true for every situation. If you value user (and app) sovereignty over all, then Nostr is absolutely the way for your app to empower users to “connect with each other” on their own terms! A LOT of Nostr tech has been developed from a “Nostr first” perspective (which assumes that someone “wants Nostr” and tends to have more tolerance for technicality) but this doesn’t AT ALL have to be the case. Make the app that YOU want and allow Nostr to find its place. (Rather than building an app around the protocol). Nostr is adaptable to do exactly this … but the tooling may need some work to deliver a polished UX. And … while building an app on Nostr is MANY TIMES more affordable than the “walled garden” approach … the market of Nostr apps (and freedom tech in general) IS ENTIRELY DRIVEN by user experience. And also … while vibe coded apps CAN BE developed for next to nothing … pushing boundaries and edge cases (like using Nostr to solve real world problems) WILL NEED some level of expertise (mostly in architectural foresight, but also a bit of code cowboying) to keep the AI’s “creativity” constrained. So … What this means for your own bottom line is … there will probably be some expense for you to get a polished app into to production. But … Nostr is STILL the most affordable and sovereignty respecting protocol on which to develop. The only question then is … what do you WANT to build? 👀 Happy to help guide you further.
