My biggest goal in life is simple: Spend quality time with my great grandchildren before I die. There's no guaranteed success. I'm not even a grandfather yet! But I will work towards that goal every day. I want to be a part of their lives when I'm reaching the end of my journey.🧡

One thing I'm really saddened by is the absence of a good grandfather in my life. This is a good goal. A future human may not have to feel the way I do. But, it has shaped me in a positive way in that I also want to be that wise and dependable person for younger people. I already practice at it when younger people around me are struggling, and I don't have children.
Grandparents are incredible if you're lucky enough to have them in your life. I never knew my dad's parents, but I was lucky to have my mom's parents in my life until my mid-20s. My mom recently converted all her analog family tapes to digital, and my wife & I watched everything. My grandparents were always present no matter the occasion. I can't imagine not having that growing up, but I also think about how much more fulfilling things would have been if my dad's parents were also there. I wish they took better care of their health. A future human may not feel as you do, but if you make yourself an excellent grandfather, they won't be able to imagine life without your presence.✌️

I'm told I'm too old to achieve that, but my goal is similar: I hope to be remembered and appreciated, just as I honor my great-great-grandparents who bought the farm I currently live on.
That was my goal too. Doesn't look likely. Be prepared for disappointments but be very grateful when things work well. Good luck. Bueno suerte.
Key to a good life. I have 5 kids so that the chances of that I crease for me to.
Great goal. So many positive choices need to happen over a long timespan for that to come true: from family choices to taking care of your health and your loved ones.
