My implementation is centered around hashtags to maximize compatibility with existing clients. The most important thing to get right is the governance model.
Basically the way it will work on Satellite is that people can start a forum and assume the responsibility of moderating posts with a certain hashtag. Forkability is inherent in Nostr, providing a necessary check on the power of moderators. Moderators also should get paid for doing a good job.
