You can't fight a government that will tax you into oblivion e. g. or id they go full blown totalitarian on their citizens including the military.

The real power is always in the hands of the people, as soon as you start believing that the government just has inherent power without the populace you have given up your power to others that will decide your fate. Running away only works until there is no place left to run to, what then?
